Man’s body found in Richmond drug lab: RCMP
RICHMOND — RCMP have discovered the body of a missing man at a home in Richmond, and said the residence was used as a drug lab.
Police said the man was reported missing three days ago and foul play is not suspected.
Mounties secured the location to execute a search warrant on the property and said there is no threat to public safety.
Police said the investigation led them to ask Vancouver police for assistance in checking an apartment that turned out to be uninhabited but showed signs of drug production.
The B.C. Coroners Service and the RCMP’s federal team dealing with clandestine labs are also part of the investigation involving the Richmond RCMP’s organized crime unit.
