Butchart Gardens holding job fair
Have a flair with flowers, a budding green thumb or the need to be in the midst of as much tourist traffic as possible?
Butchart Gardens may have the answer, as the world-famous tourist attraction will be holding a job fair Feb. 13.
Butchart is one of the largest employers on the Saanich Peninsula with 600 staff during peak times.
“We have always attracted a broad spectrum of applicants — from students to seniors — for spring and summer work, with many staff members returning during the Christmas season and year after year,” said Jeannie Christison, director of human resources.
Butchart offers a variety of jobs, including for visitor services, food services, gardening and the gift store.
The job fair will be held in the coffee shop/information centre between 6 and 8 p.m. Bring a resumé and cover letter or an application (online at butchartgardens.com/events/job-fair/).
