THE OLD FARM MARKET

-

It has been just over a year since The Old Farm Market has opened in Oak Bay at 2585 Cadboro bay road. During that time a lot has changed in the world. A global pandemic, later The Old Farm Market has established itself in the Victoria grocery market scene. A Produce market founded in 1988 in Duncan, BC and purchased by Lorne Campbell in July of 2017, the Market prides itself on quality produce at affordable prices, supporting Local businesses, and exceptional customer service. Not only do they support local Produce farmers but they also search out many local Grocery, Dairy and Deli products to have an overall diverse and BC focused selection.

Opening their location in December of 2019 in Oak Bay, The Old Farm Market Cadboro Bay continues to expand on what the Duncan Location does best. With a full service Deli, cheese Island and the “Sandwich Construction Co.” sandwich shop, the OFM is no longer JUST “The Home of Local Produce.” They are also now launching a Meat department featuring local raised Beef, Chicken and pork.

“We have been listening intently to what our customers are looking for from us” General Manager Chris Steel says about the Oak Bay location, “

In the last month we have added 48 feet of additional dry grocery, 15 feet of frozen foods and we are soon to launch a meat department, so that we can offer our customers a one stop shopping experience.” Customer service is an integral part of how the OFM does business daily, quickly bringing in requested products, asking for feedback and focusing on an ideal experience for each customer.

“We love getting to know our customers on a first name basis, there are so many amazing, caring people in this community that have been so welcoming to us and supportive since the day we opened the store, we feel very lucky to have had Oak Bay give us such wonderful customers and many of our incredible team” Says

Chris Steel.

The Old Farm Market welcomes you to their location at 2585 Cadboro Bay Road and is open Daily from 8am-7pm.
