Emmy and Peabody Award winner George Roy (“Mayweather”) directed this featurelength profile of one of the greatest superstars in sports entertainment history. A two-time inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, Booker T also is an 11-time WCW Tag Team Champion, a six-time World Champion and winner of the 2006 King of the Ring Tournament. In addition to his triumphs inside the ring, Booker T also went on to become a color commentator for WWE’s weekly programming.
8 p.m. on (58) The Nevers.
As much of the public buzzes over with anticipation over an upcoming execution, Penance (Ann Skelly) wrestles with a moral calling she feels that is notably at odds with Amalia’s (Laura Donnelly) plan in the new episode “Hanged.” That divergence of vision forces the Orphans to debate among themselves as to which of the women to follow. Olivia Williams, James Norton, Tom Riley and Ben Chaplin also star.

The Belcher kids (voices of Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Kristen Schaal) find themselves caught up in a cat-and-mouse game after Dr. Yap (voice of guest star Ken Jeong) comes to the burger restaurant looking for something that was taken from his dental office waiting room in the new episode “Steal Magazine-olias.” Elsewhere, Bob, Linda and Teddy (voices of H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Larry Murphy) try to remove an unusually large deposit of bird poop from the eatery window.
9 p.m. on (36) Movie: Monster-in-Law
Go, Jane Fonda, go! Kick J. Lo’s posterior! Fonda returned to the screen with this comedy, playing a woman totally devoted to her doctor son (Michael Vartan) ... to the degree that she does all she can to demolish his relationship with his new girlfriend (Jennifer Lopez). Once his flame catches on to what Mom is up to, it’s war between the women. Comedian Wanda Sykes is a riot as Mommie Dearest’s confidante.
10 p.m. on (8) (14) NCIS: New Orleans.
After Pride (Scott Bakula) directs his team to find evidence linking Sasha Broussard (recurring guest star Callie Thorne) to the recent violent attacks in New Orleans, he faces the painful task of helping Connor (guest star Drew Scheid) come to terms with who his mother really is in the new episode “Illusions.” Meanwhile, Carter and Tammy (Charles Michael Davis, Vanessa Ferlito) search for a highly trained military canine who has been stolen. The guest cast also includes Joanna Cassidy; Chelsea Field also stars.
10 p.m. on (9) (16) The Rookie.
Officers Nolan and Bradford (Nathan Fillion, Eric Winter) put their safety on the line as they desperately try to de-escalate a potentially explosive drug war before any innocent lives are lost in the new episode “Triple Duty.” Elsewhere, Officer Harper (Mekia Cox) hopes she can ensure that Officer Chen (Melissa O’Neil) is fully prepared for a high-stakes undercover assignment.
