Local concert calendar expands

More dates have been added to the local concert calendar, including shows by Sam Roberts and Death From Above 1979.

Roberts stops at the Capital Ballroom on Nov. 20 as part of his cross-Canada tour with Monowhales. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through admitone.com.

Roberts last played Vancouver Island in 2017, with an appearance at Lake Cowichan’s Laketown Rock festival, so expect tickets for his intimate club show to disappear quickly.

Death From Above 1979 returns to Victoria for a show at the same venue, on March 26. The duo of Sebastien Grainger and Jesse F. Keeler is performing at the Capital Ballroom as part of its North American IS 4 LOVERS tour. Tickets for the band’s first local appearance since 2015 go on sale Friday at 10:30 a.m. at admitone.com.
