When a building in the Heights that is designated for low-income housing suddenly goes on the market for a major corporation, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) recruits Orlando (guest star Jhaleil Swaby) to help her convince the city to halt the prospective sale in the new episode “Still I Rise.” Her plans go awry, though, when Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) shows up. Elsewhere, Nia (Nicole Maines) trains with her mother (guest star Kate Burton).

Road trip! In the new episode “Vaxed and Waxed,” after extended time alone due to the pandemic, Whitney and Ashley pack up the car and head to Georgia for a retreat that caters to “big girls.” Later, with international travel restrictions beginning to ease, Whitney wonders if her virtual relationship will finally become a reality or if her Frenchman will say au revoir.
