Saanich Neighbourhood Place works to enrich lives through caring programs that connect people to each other and their community. One way that we try to do that is by offering child care while parents access our services. We need reliable, committed volunteers who are willing to provide a safe, engaging environment for children aged 0-5. Clear and caring communication skills, a willingness to get down and be at children’s level and a desire to make an impact on individuals in our community are needed for this role. We have beautiful indoor and outdoor space that childminders are able to access. Shifts are usually 2-4 hours on weekdays, during the day and in the evenings. Please contact ali@snplace.org if you are interested.
