5 p.m. on (42) Movie: Young Mr. Lincoln.

Director John Ford’s somewhat fictionali­zed 1930 biopic covers two years in the early life of Abraham Lincoln (Henry Fonda), as he moves from the Kentucky log cabin where he grew up and begins his law practice in Springfiel­d, Ill. Fonda originally declined the title role, convinced he wasn’t up to playing such an iconic American, until Ford filmed a screen test with the actor in full makeup.

Alice Brady, Marjorie Weaver and Arleen Whelan also star in the film, which salutes Fonda as TCM’s star of the month.

6 p.m. on (26) The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

New friend Traci Johnson joins familiar Housewives Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Jackie Goldscheid­er and Jennifer Aydin as this long-running reality series opens Season 12. After years of marital turmoil, a resilient Teresa is pondering moving in with boyfriend Luis and blending their families. Elsewhere, Margaret is dealing with some guilt after revealing an Aydin family secret, causing pain to Jennifer. Meanwhile, Jackie finally is forced to confront her eating disorder.

6 p.m. on (29) (52) (60) (29) Naomi.

In the new episode “Enigma,” Naomi (Kaci Walfall) gains new insights into her past, but she struggles to come to terms with the secrets that have been kept from her, and by whom. As she continues her training with Dee (Alexander Wraith), she finds the courage to confront Zumbado (Cranston Johnson), while balancing her super-life with the mundane routine of school, where several friends urge her to run for class president. Barry Watson, Mouzam Makkar, Daniel Puig and Mary-Charles Jones also star; Stephanie March guest stars.

6 p.m. on (37) I Am Jazz.

In the Season 7 finale, “Not the Same Jazz,” Jazz is off to Harvard, but before she leaves, she gets to observe a surgical procedure. Later, Jazz and Sander throw an engagement party for Neasa and Noah. Meanwhile, behind all the celebrator­y smiles, Jazz’s family can’t help rememberin­g the last time she was leaving for college, but they can only hope this time will be different.

8 p.m. on (52) (60) Superman & Lois.

Sons Jonathan and Jordan (Jordan Elsass, Alex Garfin) become increasing­ly concerned as Clark’s (Tyler Hoechlin) painful visions continue, while Lois and Chrissy (Elizabeth Tulloch, Sofia Sofia Hasmik) embark on a mission to find Lois’ sister Lucy (guest star Jenna Dewan) in the new episode “The Inverse Method.” Elsewhere, Lana, Kyle and Sarah (Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette) discuss Sarah’ upcoming quinceaner­a over a family breakfast, while Natalie and her father (Tayler Buck, Wole Parks) share their own moment of bonding. Dylan Walsh also stars.

9 p.m. on (16) Abbott Elementary.

In the new episode “Gifted Program,” Janine (Quinta Brunson) persuades Ava (Janelle James) to start a program for exceptiona­l students at the school, with Jacob (Chris Perfetti) leading it. When the program leads to less stellar students feeling left out, however, Gregory (Tyler James Williams) helps Janine come up with a solution. Meanwhile, Barbara (Sheryl Lee Ralph) tries to persuade a gun-shy Melissa (Lisa Ann Walter) to try dating again.
