Meanwhile, Garrett’s plans to live with Kenna threaten his friendship with Will.

Theo and Vic (Carlos Miranda, Barrett Doss) respond to an escalating domestic disturbanc­e between the parents of a trans teenager in the new episode “The Road You Didn’t Take.” Elsewhere, Jack (Grey Damon) gets some shocking new details about his childhood, while Travis and Ben (Jay Hayden, Jason George) help a clinic patient who is long overdue for medical treatment; Jaina Lee Ortiz also stars.

8 p.m. on (15) MasterChef.

The eight remaining young chefs split into teams for a cakes and cookies competitio­n in “Junior Edition: The Big Bake Sale.” Host Gordon Ramsay and fellow judges Daphne Oz and Aarón Sánchez evaluate the sweet treats on display for their flavor and presentati­on. Things won’t end on a sweet note for one member of the losing team, though, who will be sent home.

The family starts getting seriously concerned when the normally responsibl­e Al (Adhir Kalyan) starts blowing off classes and assignment­s so he can spend more time with Cindy (guest star Jayma Mays) in the new episode “Desire/ Khwast.” Meanwhile, Riley (Parker Young) is pretty sure he and Vanessa (Kelli Goss) won’t be able to keep their relationsh­ip a secret much longer. Dean Norris, Elizabeth Alderfer and Farrah Mackenzie also star; the guest cast also includes Rachel Bay Jones, Amanda Payton, John Ross Bowie and Blake Clark.

9 p.m. on (9) (16) Grey’s Anatomy.

A new episode called “I’ll Cover You” finds Simon (guest star Cedric Sanders), a former patient of Link’s (Chris Carmack), and his pregnant wife, Kristen (Bianca A. Santos), in the emergency room for treatment. Meanwhile, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) gets an offer she’ll want to consider from Nick (guest star Scott Speedman). Ellen Pompeo, James Pickens Jr., Kevin McKidd and Camilla Luddington also star.

9:30 p.m. on (8) (14) How We Roll.

After Helen (Julie White) inexplicab­ly ghosts Archie (Chi McBride), Tom (Pete Holmes) is staggered to discover Archie has been keeping a huge secret in the new episode “The Big Secret.” Sheryl Lee Ralph (“Abbott Elementary”) guest stars, with Tahj Mowry, Amanda Perez, Matt McCarthy and Judy Kain reprising their recurring roles; Katie Lowes also stars.

10 p.m. on (55) Hacks.

The prickly mentor-protegée relationsh­ip between veteran Las Vegas comic Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and her young, headstrong writer Ava (Hannah Einbinder) continues to evolve as the pair travel across the U.S. so Deborah can workshop her edgy new stand-up act as this critically acclaimed comedy returns for Season 2. Joining Smart — who won just about every available award for her performanc­e in Season 1 — for these new episodes are recurring players Laurie Metcalf, Ming-Na Wen and Susie Essman.
