KEN GILL & FORREST OWENS CHARITY HOCKEY TOURNAMENT April 5 — 7:45AM - 5:45PM Archie Browning Arena

Come watch the Profession­al Firefighte­rs of Greater 9ictoria face oႇ for the second annual tournament. Eight local ¿re department­s will be playing for their charities of choice in this all-day event. Come join the fun! Entrance is free. There will be a pancake breakfast in the morning, hot dogs later in the afternoon and hot drinks available all day courtesy of Esquimalt Lions.

ESQUIMALT 5K AND KIDS FUN RUN April 13 — 9AM Archie Browning Sports Arena

Esquimalt is hosting its annual 5k and Kids 1K Fun Run! Join the community for one of the most scenic runs in the region. The route will take you to Saxe Point Park, through Macaulay Park, through peaceful neighbourh­oods.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATIO­NS April 17 — 10AM - 2PM Highrock Carin Park

Township staff are working with local schools and community members to help raise awareness about keeping our local parks and urban forests safe and healthy. Activities include invasive species removal, planting, trail building, and environmen­tal stewardshi­p. Come check it out!

FORT MACAULAY INTERPRETA­TION EVENT May 25 — 9:30AM - 2:30PM Macaulay Point Park

Learn about our local history! The interpreti­ve tour will take place at 10:30am led by local historian, Jack Bates. The event will also feature members of the Victoria-Esquimalt Military Re-enactors Associatio­n with their encampment, the Esquimalt Archives, and others.

NEIGHBOURH­OOD PARTY June 8 — 11AM - 2PM Bullen Park

Esquimalt’s biggest block party is back! The rec centre parking lot is taken over for the afternoon and filled with local vendors, music, and games for kids. Don’t leave without stopping by Bullen Park for the bouncy castle and other kid friendly activities.

NAVY RUN June 22 — 8:15AM - 10:30AM CFB Esquimalt
