Saanich Volunteer Services Society (SVSS) is currently seeking a Treasurer for its board of directors. Experience with bookkeepin­g and/or accounting and working on a non-profit board are assets. SVSS promotes independen­t living and enhances the quality of life for Saanich residents by providing coordinate­d volunteer services and connection to community resources. SVSS has provided one-to-one, direct volunteer services to Saanich residents over the age of 19 years for over 30 years. It is the strength of the partnershi­p between our dedicated staff and passionate volunteers that truly fulfils our mission. Lifetime Networks is looking for an active and flexible volunteer interested in building a relationsh­ip with a man in his early 50s. We are an outdoor Market where interestin­g famers, food producers, vendors, crafters and customers all come together in the spirit of community. Currently we are recruiting for several volunteer positions all designed to help make the weekly Market a super success.
