Lifetime Networks is looking for a volunteer to build a friendship with a man with limited mobility in his mid-sixties. He is a laid-back individual whose profession­al music career was ended due to MS. He hopes to find another laid-back musician to discuss their appreciati­on of music and listen to classical music as they visit. Saanich Peninsula Stroke Recovery Associatio­n

is looking for a meeting and volunteer coordinato­r. Duties include: meeting announceme­nts, volunteer recruitmen­t and supervisio­n as well as socializin­g with our members during social hour. We are celebratin­g our 32 years of operations in providing speech and movement assistance for our members through a profession­al speech pathologis­t and a kinesiolog­ist. each year in Victoria delivers the Ride Don’t Hide special event. This year it will take place on Sunday, June 9, at Windsor Park. We rely on volunteers to keep the day’s event running smoothly and there are a wide range of fun volunteer positions available – water station support, set-up crew, traffic control, etc. Enjoy free food, music and prizes for all volunteers in attendance – plus you are supporting a great cause. The James Bay Market
