The City’s Buzziest After-Party

The Maverick Social Club hosted an exclusive celebration of TIFF, Fashion Week and Toronto Life’s annual Stylebook issue

Following the kickoff of TIFF, the closing night of Toronto Fashion Week and the eighth annual Toronto Life Best Dressed party, a hand-picked list of guests headed over to the Maverick Social Club on King West for a night of delicious food, fancy cocktails and Instagrammable moments.

Hosted by Empire Communities and Toronto Life, the after-party was the latest addition to the series of events building buzz around Empire’s newest condo project, Maverick. The lavish space was filled with lush flower bouquets and decorations by Stemz. Eatertainment served up sliders, hearty bowls of creamy mac and cheese with pulled pork, and teriyaki salmon with ramen noodle salad, while Spirit of York poured garnish-your-own gin and vodka cocktails. Great Lakes Brewery took care of the beer, offering guests a selection of refreshing end-ofsummer brews. For wine connoisseurs, Ruffino poured glasses of full-bodied reds and crisp whites.

After getting makeup, false lashes and eyebrow waxing, courtesy of Rebel + Beauty, guests took advantage of the Empire Maverick throne and Glam Cam for photo ops. Later, celebrity DJ Alexandra Richards and Toronto artist Ace Dillinger spent the night mixing tracks that guests danced to all night long. Each guest left with a party bag filled with swag, including a Radford signature 24K gold hydrogel face mask and meditation passes to Mindset, a new “brain gym” in Yorkville.
