Toronto Life - - Contents -

Many people see the undulating human forms of works by Henry Moore as reminiscent of landscapes in the artist’s native Britain. But he was also influenced by the skill and creative voice of the Old Masters whose works he saw as a young man. Foster + Partners is known for its biophiliac design principles. Inspired by nature, they believe that people feel better when exposed to the natural world. The One has windows that open to the fresh air; an abundance of natural light; and a year-round, heated sky terrace of 9000 square feet planted with shrubs and greenery.
