Thousands of Torontonians showed up to get vaxxed, setting a record in the process

Ever since this whole thing started, Scotiabank Arena, typically a locus of immense joy, has transformed into a bunker of disappointment. Concerts were cancelled, the Raptors moved to Florida, and the Leafs, well, they did what they always do. But something shifted at the beginning of summer. The arena used all its square footage to create a mega vaccination clinic, delivering 26,771 doses in a single day, shattering the North American record previously set at the Texas Motor Speedway.
