Braithwaite, Surgeoner described incorrectly

Leonard Austin Braithwaite, 81, an Order of Ontario recipient, retired from the Governing Council of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2003, but he continues to practise law in Etobicoke. Dr. Gordon Surgeoner, of Fergus, was also named to the Order of Ontario. He helped develop the Food System 2002 program, which not only led to a more than 50 per cent reduction in pesticide use in Ontario agriculture but also enhanced productivity. A story about award recipients published in Thursday’s paper included incorrect information about these recipients. The Star regrets the errors.
