Stars example of what is good, right

Re Katrina’s star power Sept. 6. Anybody who is generous enough and caring enough to go to New Orleans and the surrounding areas which have been devastated by Kristina should be held up as a glowing example of what is good and right in this world, not mocked, as they have been in this publication. Your cynical view of the participation of celebrities in the midst of such heartache and chaos is disheartening. I would think that anything or anybody that brings aid and attention to this crisis is to be thanked, not pilloried. Sandra A. Morris, Sunderland, Ont.
