Man charged with distributing porn

A Mississauga man has been arrested after porn images of young boys were distributed on the Internet.

Peel police say the images were distributed using pay- peruse Internet access at Spa Excess on Carlton St. in Toronto. The man was also in direct breach of two conditions of a conditional release order issued in June 2004 for possession of child pornography, police said.

Charged is Sperantino Del Monaco, 35, of Mississauga. per cent. Hamilton, for example, has seen average values come in at 15 to 19 per cent higher. The tax assessment notice is clearer today than at any time. The notice tells you it is not a tax bill, and it is not. The assessed value is just one of two main factors used to calculate your taxes. The other is the rate used by the city to deliver the money it wants to pay its bills. ( This is called a mill rate, or, in Toronto’s case, 0.9 per thousand dollars of assessment, and it’s set when council approves the annual budget.) The notice tells you an assessment increase doesn’t mean an automatic hike in taxes, and it doesn’t. Regardless of what the assessment numbers show, your taxes won’t increase unless your new property value jumped more than the average for your city or town. Conversely, if your jump in property value is less than the average, you will be paying less taxes.

( The caution here is that the city might raise taxes by $100 on the average home to cover its upcoming budget. In that case, if you were looking at a $60 decrease, your hike would be $ 40. You’re still better off than homeowners facing a huge increase in property values. They would then have to pay a premium for owning a hot property, plus the $100 hike.) The notice tells you what the assessors thought your property was worth on June 30, 2003, and what they figured it was worth on Jan. 1, 2005.

Because the system is based on the market value of a property, the values are updated periodically — annually starting in 2006. In effect, the assessment
