SPURS at WIZARDS: Gilbert Arenas couldn’t seem to miss a shot. Tim Duncan couldn’t make one.

Arenas made 11 of his first 12 from the field, plus a 30- footer off the glass at the third- quarter buzzer, and had a total of 43 points to lead Washington past San Antonio 110- 95. Duncan wound up 3 for 18 for 11 points and had 14 rebounds, barely keeping intact his run of a double-double in every game this season. GRIZZLIES at HAWKS: Pau Gasol’s tip- in at the final buzzer lifted Memphis to an 85- 84 victory over winless Atlanta. Shane Battier scored a seasonhigh 22 points and Bobby Jackson added 17 for Memphis. MAVERICKS vs. HORNETS: Dirk Nowitzki scored 30 points and Jason Terry added 26 to lead Dallas over New Orleans 109- 103 at Oklahoma City.

Chris Paul led the Hornets with 26 points on 10- of-13 shooting. The Hornets drew a capacity crowd of 19,163 for the second time in three home games. ROCKETS at NETS:

Tracy McGrady scored 30 of his 35 points in the second half and Yao Ming added 18 points to lead Houston to a 99-91 win over New Jersey. McGrady, making his return after missing three games due to back spasms, also grabbed 10 rebounds. BOBCATS at HEAT: Jason Williams scored 22 points, Dwyane Wade added 19 and Alonzo Mourning 16 to lead Miami to a 108- 99 win over Charlotte. Sean May scored 18 points, Kareem Rush had 15 and Primoz Brezec added 11 for Charlotte, which lost its fourth in a row. Udonis Haslem scored 14 points and had 11 rebounds for the Heat, who were without Shaquille O’Neal for the fifth consecutiv­e game. JAZZ at BULLS: Luol Deng scored 21 points and Kirk Hinrich had 19 points and 11 assists as Chicago beat Utah 103- 98. Mehmet Okur had a careerhigh 33 points and 17 rebounds for Utah, which played most of the game without Andrei Kirilenko after he injured his left ankle early in the second quarter. WARRIORS at SUNS:

Shawn Marion had 22 points and 15 rebounds and Raja Bell scored a season- high 20 points, leading Phoenix to a 101- 86 victory over Golden State for coach Mike D’Antoni’s 100th NBA win. PACERS at BUCKS:

Mo Williams hit a three- pointer at the buzzer, rallying Milwaukee to 103- 102 victory over Indiana.

Michael Redd led the Bucks with 28 points and Williams and T. J. Ford added 19 apiece. Jermaine O’Neal tied his season high with 27 points for Indiana.
