IFIC New chief named

Joanne De Laurentiis has been named president of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada. The mutual fund industry association said yesterday that De Laurentiis, now president of Credit Union Central of Canada, will take over as IFIC’s chief executive Jan. 16 from Tom Hockin, who is retiring after running IFIC for 11 years.
