Anti-Semitism label doesn’t always work
Re Critique of Israel lobby dangerously misleading Jan. 5
In attacking one of the most exquisitely researched books on the subject of the Israeli lobby, Leslie Gelb accuses the authors of “puzzlingly shoddy scholarship” and anti-Semitism.
The father of Zionist Israel said, “If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. . . . They see but one thing: We have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?”
I wonder if Gelb would label David Ben-Gurion anti-Semitic as well.
