Re Star columnist Milt Dunnell was stuff of legend Jan. 4
In reading Milt Dunnell’s columns over the years, he came across as a man perfecting life to the fullest — perhaps honing his craft like that card player he apparently was until there were no more chips to play. Yet he seemed a man of humour, too, with a wry smile that reminded me a bit of Milton Berle — “Uncle Miltie” as he was called by fans and aspiring comedians — and no doubt Milt Dunnell was known as the “Uncle Milt” of journalism.
I never met Mr. Dunnell, but to read him was to know him. What a legacy.
