Atwood joins the digital revolution
Bestselling Canadian novelist and Booker Prize winner Margaret At- wood has joined a growing number of high-profile authors who have signed on with Byline Press, a San Francisco-based digital publisher specializing in original short fiction and non-fiction meant to be read in a single sitting. Atwood’s story “I’m Starved for You” — described on the Byliner website as “a tale of love and lust in an Orwellian near future” — goes on sale, online, on Wednesday for $2.99 through Amazon.com, Apple’s ibookstore and Barnesandnoble.com. “I’m excited about Byliner, which I see as part of the short fiction revival that’s taking place online,” Atwood said in a statement Wednesday.
