Man hit by truck sent to trauma centre

A man was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre Wednesday afternoon after he was struck by a large truck in the east end.

Police say the collision took place on Queen St. E. between Lee and Wineva Aves. shortly before 4 p.m.

The man, who appears to be in his 30s, was unconscious at the scene and suffered major head injuries.
