Fashion weeks saw return of patterned pants, heralding a vibrant and fun ‘alternative to jeans’
During Toronto Fashion Week earlier this month, women wore pants that looked like they were on fire.
Wild in pattern and vivid in colour, the trousers sported by guests attending the shows at the tents at David Pecaut Square on King St. W. were anything but the manly kind — dull and grey. Whether they were loose and fluid-like pyjama bottoms or skinny and snug-like jeans, they were clearly signalling one of spring’s big trends: punchy printed pants.
