An incredible India bargain

Spend nearly a week in the Golden Triangle for roughly $2,000

- KATHRYN FOLLIOTT SPECIAL TO THE STAR

Hard to believe but you can get an (almost) week-long trip to India, with airfare, for less than $2,000 per person including taxes and fees with Goway’s Essential Golden Triangle.

What keeps the price down? With a six-day stay (and five nights accommodation), it’s a bit of a whirlwind, but just the ticket for anyone with limited time or a tight budget. Plus, it’s a group tour, “and there is value in numbers,” says Diane Molzan, who oversees Goway’s Asia division. The lead-in rate of $1,939 per person includes air, accommodation in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, some meals, transfers and sightseeing, with departures available through the end of the year and into 2013. The lowest rates apply to travel April 1-May 5, 2013.

The price also includes entrance fees to all the major sites, from the Red Fort in Delhi to the Amber Fort in Jaipur and, of course, Agra’s Taj Mahal. Group size for each departure is limited to 26 travellers. See goway.com/asia/india.
