ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Neil Sandell is a senior producer at the CBC in Toronto. He has worked on many of the network’s iconic radio programs: Morningside, As It Happens,
Quirk & Quarks, Outfront and Ideas. Sandell’s documentaries have won more than 15 radio awards, including honours from the New York Festivals, the Gabriel Awards, the URTI Radio Grand Prix (Paris), the Canadian Association of Journalists and the Third Coast International Audio Festival in Chicago. He is the author of 12 radio dramas broadcast on CBC, one of which won an Ohio State Award. Neil has a passion for mentoring younger journalists. He has taught workshops in Oslo, Chicago, Amsterdam, Alert Bay, B.C., and Nuuk, Greenland.
