STYLISH SETTINGS

-

Whether you’re a traditionalist at heart or on a strict budget, there are plenty of ways for you to decorate your holiday table.

Since it’s the season of giving, we’re sharing some tips for easy, stylish dining:

Forget the predictable! Why not try out an orange theme, or mix deep pink linens with navy florals. This is the season to test out something new.

Use lengths of ribbon pinned to the ceiling to hang baubles over the centre of the table, creating a whimsical, suspended centrepiece.

Mix and match dishes and patterns.

Clear-glass cylinder vases filled with acorns, cranberries and walnuts are an inexpensive and easy way to decorate the table.

No table runner, no worries. Use holiday wrapping paper or a folded wool blanket instead.

Tuck a sprig of fresh herbs into each napkin. This will help your guests to feel relaxed and at home while also allowing you to use elements from your very own backyard.

Use old sheet music as placemats; it’s chic and a great conversation starter.

Get more bang for your buck and line the table with your summer patio lanterns.
