Tree crushes camper at provincial park

BC Coroners Service has identified Kaslo resident Alice Bernice Gilbert as the camper who died near Clearwater after a tree fell on her.

Gilbert, 66, was camping with family and friends at Wells Gray Provincial Park last Friday when a 38metre-tall tree suddenly crashed on her tent around 5 a.m. while she was inside.
