Putin fights zombies in new game

-

If you’ve always wanted to fight zombies and be Vladimir Putin, it’s your lucky month. The free-to-download iOS and Android game Don’t Mess With Putin will be available just in time for Halloween. In the game, a character based on the Russian leader — aided by an alcoholic American named Mike — will go all Daryl Dixon on the undead hordes when they interrupt a news conference. Said hordes are reportedly led by eternal Russian boogie man, Rasputin. No word on whether he’s a zombie, too. And no word on whether Putin keeps his shirt on. According to Variety, Belgian video developer Michele Rocco Smeets explains, “Putin has this tough guy image and he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty. He hunts, he rides, he shoots. A leader should be strong, and in my opinion Putin is the only world leader who really fulfils this image.” Smeets’ last game was Run Snowden Run, which saw Edward Snowden running to avoid U.S. capture. Putin had a cameo in that game. The Moscow News says the game will feature one-liners attributed to Putin. Malene Arpe
