Bloody jacket part of Oland evidence

Court documents released Friday say a sports jacket with blood on it was seized from the home of Richard Oland’s son as part of the police investigat­ion into the New Brunswick businessma­n’s death.

The documents say the brown jacket found in the home of Dennis Oland.

The blood was tested but the results of those tests are redacted.

Richard Oland was found dead in his Saint John office on July 7, 2011.

Police in Saint John have said Dennis Oland is the suspect in the case. No charges have been laid against him and no arrests have been made.
