Well, Lynch got it right: Faces no fine

-

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch fulfilled all his media obligations during Super Bowl week and will not be fined.

NFL spokesman Michael Signora said in a statement that Lynch fulfilled the obligation to attend all media sessions prior to Seattle’s 28-24 loss to New England. Lynch never appeared for more than five minutes at any of the three availabilities.

In addition, Signora said Lynch will not be fined for the hat he wore all three days. Lynch wore a hat for his “Beast Mode” clothing brand. The hat was made by and given to him by an NFL licensee, Signora said. BUSTED, AGAIN: Dallas running back Joseph Randle has been arrested for the second time in less than four months, this time on suspicion of marijuana possession after a domestic violence call to police in his hometown in Kansas.

Polilce said Randle was arrested early Tuesday after the 22-year-old mother of Randle’s child called 911 to report she fought with him in a hotel room. They said the woman showed no signs of being injured.

The 23-year-old Randle was arrested after a small amount of marijuana was found.

In October, Randle was arrested on a misdemeanour shoplifting charge. END OF AN ERA: Crews have started tearing down San Francisco’s storied Candlestick Park so houses, a hotel and a shopping centre can be built on the site of the former Giants and 49ers stadium. Ramps were being knocked down Wednesday, and the upper portions of the iconic stadium will follow.

The “Stick” opened more than 50 years ago and was known for its chilly conditions, whipping winds and fog from San Francisco Bay.
