Alanis joins Music Hall of Fame
You oughta know: Alanis Morissette will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at this year’s Juno Awards.
The singer-songwriter will receive the honour during the awards broadcast live in Hamilton on March 15.
In a statement, the Ottawa native said she’s honoured to be recognized by her home country, which she adores “so much.”
Morissette has earned 13 Junos, seven Grammys and two Golden Globe nominations in her nearly three-decade career after soaring to international fame in 1995 with her album Jagged Little Pill and the single “You Oughta Know.”
