Pop star Justin Bieber has reached a settlement with a photographer who claimed he was assaulted by the singer’s bodyguard outside a South Florida recording studio. Lawyer Mark DiCowden confirmed the settlement Friday between his client, photographer Jeffrey Binion, and Bieber. The terms of the agreement are confidential.

Binion filed the lawsuit in 2013 seeking unspecified damages. The photographer said he was roughed up while shooting pictures from a sidewalk outside the studio. The 21year-old Bieber has had several runins with paparazzi.

Canadian actress Cobie Smulders, of How I Met Your Mother fame, has revealed in an interview with Women’s Health magazine that she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer during Season 3 of HIMYM, when she was 25. Smulders, now 33, who appears topless on the magazine’s May cover, said she had tumours on both ovaries and the cancer spread into her lymph nodes and surrounding tissues. The magazine said it took multiple surgeries over two years to remove the cancerous tissue.

Surviving members of the Monty Python comedy troupe — John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam ( Graham Chapman died in 1989) — reunited in New York for the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival, with a 40th anniversary screening of their masterpiece, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, on Friday. During a session with reporters, the Pythons recalled that in 1975, Holy Grail opened in New York with free coconuts presented to the first 2,000 ticket holders. “We’d give them a coconut. Then we’d have to sign them. And it’s virtually impossible to sign a coconut,” Idle said.
