May 16 – 18 HarbourKID­S Circus

Be amazed by the aerialists, the mysterious magic shows and Sideshow Alley, where kids can be part of the circus. Co-produced by Zero Gravity Circus.

May 29 – 31 South-North Griots Summit

The art of spoken word comes to life with music, movement, rhythm and voice. Performanc­es include local and internatio­nally re- nowned spoken-word artists from Africa, the Caribbean, and across the Americas.

June 20 – September 7 Lakeview Market

This bustling marketplac­e lets visitors “shop the world” for clothing, jewellery, house wares, beauty products and other artifacts.

Thursdays June 25-September 3 Dancing on the Pier

Learn a new step under the stars. Discover dances like bachata, salsa, meringue, swing, and more, while enjoying fantastic internatio­nal live bands.

June 29 – September 4 Harbourfro­nt Centre Summer Camps

A unique experience for campers aged 3 to 15. Camps include pastry-making, digital photograph­y, Dungeons & Dragons, fashion, and musical theatre, among others.

July 1 Canada Day: The Next Generation

Celebrate our nation’s birthday at Harbourfro­nt Centre and explore what it means to be Canadian — past, present and future — through a variety of arts programmin­g, including live music and Harbourfro­nt Centre’s signature (and spectacula­r) fireworks display on Canada Day eve, June 30th.

A multi-disciplina­ry music and arts festival that lets artists and visitors explore sounds and flavours from the African continent.

August 20 – 23 Tirgan Festival

The richness and diversity of Iranian art and culture is on display, anchored by the concept of homeland.

August 28 – 30 TAIWANfest

Like Toronto, Taiwan is a place where immigrant and indigenous cultures thrive and innovate. TAIWANfest brings generation­s of the country’s artists and ideas to the stage.
