Note: Some extreme price growth, such as Oshawa’s, is exaggerate­d in the monthly statistics by constructi­on and sale of higher-end homes. If those are factored out, Oshawa’s growth is closer to 8 per cent. *Hamilton includes Dundas, Ancaster, Stoney Creek etc. ** Clarington includes Bowmanvill­e, Courtice, Newcastle and Orono.
