Rosewood rewards staying longer
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ “More Rosewood” offers more flexibility — there are no book-by deadlines — and more time to travel compared to a lot of getaway deals. Plus, more than a dozen hotels are taking part. The promotion comes with a free night’s stay at Rosewood properties around the world, in destinations including Europe, Asia and the Middle East. There are also a few hotels in locales closer to home. All the free night deals vary by property. At the Rosewood London in the U.K., guests get a fourth night free with a three-night stay July 27 to Aug. 31, and a seventh night free with a six-night stay through Dec. 31. In New York City, The Carlyle (part of the Rosewood collection) is offering third nights free, through Sept. 7. In Vancouver, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia is offering third nights free (with a two-night stay) and fourth nights free (with a threenight stay). Both offers are good through Dec. 31. The cruise line is taking 10 per cent off cruise fares to select destinations, including the Mediterranean, the Greek Isles and Tahiti. The promotion runs until June 26 for travel this year. One itinerary, the eightday “Classic Italy & Dalmatian Coast,” sails from Rome to Venice with stops along the way in Capri, Messina, Kotor, Dubrovnik, Split and Rovinj. See windstarcruises.com/canada. Marriott’s Texas getaways The longer you stay, the more you save with Marriott Hotels & Resorts’ “Red, White & Blue: Stay Texas True” promotion. The deal takes 10 per cent off one-night stays, 15 per cent off two-night stays and 20 to 25 per cent off three-night stays, for weekend travel Thursdays through Sundays. Best buy of the week Rocky Mountaineer’s latest promotion comes with a free night’s stay in Vancouver, Calgary or Seattle. The deal applies to Rocky Mountaineer packages that are at least four nights in duration. With seven or more nights, passengers also receive their choice of airport transfer or city tour.
