Beware of Trade-Ins. Many dealers will only give you what seems a fair price for your nice watch, if you trade it in and overpay for what they are trying to get rid of at full retail. This may not be the best deal for you. Marcus & Co. has found a stronger collector market in Europe and Asia, and I travel regularly to meet with buyers. I have built a network in these markets that is stronger than the domestic one, allowing me to pay more than local buyers or trade-in artists.
