QUICK CHECK: HOW’S YOUR POSTURE?

-

If you’re slumped over a desk or standing all hunched over, you’re doing yourself harm. Good posture not only make you look better, it’s also key for keeping your body healthy and strong. When you sit or stand correctly, your body alignment properly distributes the stress to the right muscles and ligaments. The result is a lower risk of joint pain and degenerative arthritis.

What does good posture look like? When you’re standing, your ears, shoulders, hips and ankles should be lined up, your shoulders should be back and down, and your feet hipwidth apart.
