Judge eases Khadr bail conditions

-

A judge has agreed to ease some of the bail conditions for Omar Khadr, who was once held as a prisoner by the U.S. at its Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba. An Edmonton judge released Khadr on bail in May pending an appeal in the U.S. of his conviction for war crimes, including the murder of a U.S. soldier.

Khadr’s curfew is being relaxed to allow him to attend night classes and early morning prayers. Star news services
