Location, location, location the key to student housing

-

On a peninsula where the Rideau River meets Dow’s Lake with a quiet residential neighbourhood of private homes behind, Carleton University’s campus is essentially on an island, the only major North American University with this unique geographical constraint. This leads to an average commute of 25 minutes for Carleton students who must struggle to campus through Ottawa winters. Recognizing this, Ashcroft Developments will soon launch Capital Hall condominiums at 101 Champagne Avenue South. With a direct outdoor path to the new O-Train, Capital Hall will offer an easy 4-minute one-stop commute to Carleton University - with free train passes included with Carleton tuition. For the over 28,000 students who attend Carleton University, and with only 3600 beds on campus, a shorter commute to new purpose-built fully-managed accommodations can’t come soon enough.
