Light Years, Caroline Woodward

Woodward had four books to her credit — two of them highly acclaimed — but she was at a point in life where she needed a new adventure. So she and husband, Jeff, became B.C. lighthouse keepers on Lennard Island (at the entrance to Clayoquot Sound), a job that makes physical demands, imposes isolation but unleashed her creativity — to write this book and have several other projects on the go.
