Find at dump spurs raid on meth lab

Halton police said Thursday night that they’ve taken down a meth lab in a home on Midsummer Dr. in Brampton, after getting a lead from a complaint about substances in a Halton Hills dump in September.

Investigators at the house found three to six kilograms of crystal meth, according to Staff Sgt. Brad Murray. A man in the home when they arrived was arrested after trying to escape via the back yard, police said. Two other arrests were made in Vaughan and Toronto.
