TD GARDEN
Tipoff: 7:30 p.m.
TV: Sportsnet One
Radio: TSN 1050
Boston starters: Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley, Jae Crowder, David Lee, Tyler Zeller.
Toronto starters: Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, DeMarre Carroll, Luis Scola, Jonas Valanciunas.
Key matchup: Amir Johnson vs. Patrick Patterson. The much-loved ex-Raptor comes off the bench for the Celtics; he had 15 points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes against Philadelphia on Wednesday. He knows the tendencies of his longtime former Toronto teammates, and he could have a huge impact on the game.
Need to know: Boston’s Kelly Olynyk will be making his season debut after sitting out a one-game suspension in Wednesday’s opener . . . Boston’s bench provided 67 points as the Celtics drubbed Philadelphia in their opener, and speedy point guard Isaiah Thomas dropped 27 points on the Sixers . . . Boston is seen as a legitimate challenger to the Raptors for the Atlantic Division title, whatever that’s worth these days . . . One of Boston’s weaknesses is rebounding and it’s one area Raptors can exploit.
Next: Sunday vs. Milwaukee, 6 p.m.
