Re York schools ban books with TD corporate

logo, Nov. 12 So 10,000 free books called Mr. Zinger’s Hat for Grade 1 students are being spurned because TD’s corporate logo is on the first page. Now that is bizarre.

Can we all assume now that funds raised by the parents and students for schools in York Region for the usual fundraising activities throughout the year will now be accepted by “cash only” in the proverbial brown paper bag because of very noticeable bank logos on cheques and credit card machines?
