Joy to the streets, the lights have come

We’re looking for the best of the brightest neighbourhoods in the Greater Toronto Area

-

Calling all Clark Griswolds. The Star is looking for the most beautifully decorated streets in the GTA. If your neighbourhood is lit up like a winter wonderland, we’d love to see it.

So go ahead and nominate your favourite decked-out street — even if you don’t live there. We’ll feature a selection of the entries in thestar.com and Star Touch. Here’s what we’re looking for: A photo of the street, its name and the closest major intersection, along with a maximum of 200 words on why you think it’s a standout. How to submit:

You can email your nominations and photos to mycity@thestar.ca. Photos should be JPG format and between 500kb and 1 MB in size. If emailing, please put “Christmas street” in the subject line. What you need to know: We reserve the right to cut longer submissions for publication, so please stick to the requested length.

We do not publish anonymous submissions, so please include your name with your work. We also need a contact number and email address where you can be easily reached. You will be contacted only if your entry is selected for publication.

We do not pay for these submissions. The Star assumes first-print rights and electronic rights. The copyright remains with the creator.
