San Antonio: Tony Parker, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, Tim Duncan, LaMarcus Aldridge.
Toronto: Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, Terrence Ross, Luis Scola, Bismack Biyombo.
Key matchup: Tim Duncan vs. Luis Scola. The ageless Spurs big man keeps rolling around, averaging 10 points and nine rebounds a game. He’s a handful for any defender and Scola has been scuffling a little of late. That’s a troubling predicament for the Raptors.
Need to know: San Antonio sat Dun- can and Ginobli, and Leonard was sick for a game in Philadelphia on Monday and still managed to edge the Sixers by 51. They should all be back for Wednesday, but Spurs coach Gregg Popovich could very well rest others . . . Old Raptors fan favourite Matt Bonner started Monday and had nine points but he plays sparingly, averaging about six minutes a game . . . Leonard is quietly having a season that would put him in MVP consideration, averaging 22 points and 7.5 rebounds while playing his usual stifling defence . . . First chance for Cory Joseph to go up against his old San Antonio teammates . . . San Antonio has won nine of its last 10 games.
Up next: Friday vs. Milwaukee, 7:30. Doug Smith
