> 24 HOURS OF LOVIN’ IN THE ROCKIES

-

You can snowshoe morning, noon and night in and around the Rocky Mountains. As well as heli tours and hundreds of kilometres of trails in the many different provincial parks within Kananaskis, you can head out in the evening with a guided tour under the stars near Canmore. An interpreter with Kananaskis Outfitters leads you out through the forest to an open meadow where you can throw your head back to check out the Milky Way, maybe see the Northern Lights and if you happen to head out on the right night, maybe even see a meteor shower or two. You can also explore the Rockies’ culinary scene morning, noon and night. From breakfast at Canmore’s Good Earth Café, cooking lessons at the Paintbox Lodge to luxurious candlelit dinners at the Post Hotel in Lake Louise, there is much to adore about eating in the mountains.
