Policy makers must suffer consequences

We’ve become so used to seeing public works projects go poorly that we no longer expect our policy makers to take meaningful responsibility for the overrun projects they so proudly champion during their electoral campaigns.
As a York University student, commuting is a part of everyday life. When I miss a deadline I have to deal with the consequences. It’s a shame policy-makers in our city don’t have to do the same.
