Lightning scratch, suspend Drouin

-

> The Tampa Bay Lightning suspended Jonathan Drouin on Wednesday when he refused to report to an AHL game between the Syracuse Crunch and Toronto Marlies. The team announced the 20-year-old as a scratch before the game and said he had been “suspended indefinitely without pay.” Drouin’s agent, Allan Walsh, said in a statement that, with the Lightning close to dealing his client, “we proposed . . . that Jonathan not play in the next few AHL games . . . to avoid any potential injury.”
